We are in full swing in our homeschooling venture for 2009-10. It has been a good year. I am planning a more relaxed, fun year. We started school in August; after two weeks, we went on vacation to Delaware to visit my parents. After two more weeks of school, we took another week to play games. We are involved in a Florida study co-op with 3 other families, an art co-op with 2 other families, Lakeland Homeschool PE, Homegrown 4H which includes riflery, container gardening, manners, puppetry and storytelling, and Lighthouse Homeschoolers with field trips to Green Meadows Farm, a candy factory, Orlando Philharmonic and more. On top of all of that, I am teaching 2 writing classes back to back on Mondays. We've been busy, but it is a good busy that can relax whenever the time is needed. Next week we will work more on the skeleton and organs of the body. Fun.
